3 Days Student Desert Tour Marrakech to Merzouga Sahara

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

The journey begins early in the morning as we leave the vibrant city of Marrakech and head towards the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains.

We cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of 2,260 meters, offering spectacular views of Berber villages and mountain landscapes.

Our first major stop is the legendary:

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah

This ancient fortified village (ksar) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous historical landmarks. The mud-brick architecture and narrow alleys offer a fascinating glimpse into traditional southern Moroccan life.

After exploring the kasbah, the journey continues through:

After breakfast, we return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 vehicle and begin the return journey to Marrakech.

The route passes through the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and traditional villages.

Crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again, we arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon, completing this unforgettable Sahara adventure.
