The 7-day Morocco tour from Marrakech begins upon arrival in the Red City. We welcome our guests and escort them to a traditional riad within the medina or to a charming boutique hotel. Depending on arrival time, an initial introduction to the city may be enjoyed.
First Immersion in the Red City
Marrakech captivates with its colors, fragrances, and vibrant sounds. The evening may be devoted to a stroll through the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, the beating heart of the city, where street performers, musicians, and market stalls create a singular and enchanting atmosphere.
The second day is dedicated to an in-depth cultural exploration of Marrakech with a guided visit to the emblematic landmarks of the imperial city.
Historic Monuments and Traditional Souks
We visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the colorful souks of the medina, where handicrafts, spices, and textiles narrate Morocco’s living traditions. The afternoon remains free for relaxation or optional activities.
We depart Marrakech crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the renowned Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the route, breathtaking panoramas and traditional Berber villages unfold before us.
Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou
The principal stop is the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fortified earthen village stands as one of southern Morocco’s great symbols and is famous as an international film location.
Overnight in Ouarzazate
In the afternoon we arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.
After breakfast, we follow the evocative Road of the Kasbahs through landscapes dominated by palm groves and clay fortresses. We enter the renowned Valley of Roses, celebrated for its cultivation and vivid colors.
Dades Gorges
In the afternoon we reach the spectacular Dades Gorges, distinguished by unique rock formations and sweeping viewpoints. Overnight in the Boumalne Dades area, surrounded by a captivating natural setting.
The fifth day marks our entrance into the Moroccan Sahara. After breakfast we visit the imposing Todra Gorges, a natural canyon whose vertical cliffs rise up to 300 meters.
Arrival in Merzouga and Erg Chebbi
We continue toward Merzouga, crossing Berber villages and oases. The dunes of Erg Chebbi announce our arrival in the Sahara, offering an iconic and timeless landscape.
Camel Excursion and Night in the Desert
In the afternoon we embark on a camel trek at sunset. We reach the desert camp where a traditional Moroccan dinner, live Berber music, and overnight accommodation in a private tent await beneath a spectacular star-filled sky.
